What do Practice Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians do at GP Practices ?

Practice Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians are healthcare professionals registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have long established roles in community pharmacy, secondary care and commissioning.

In general practice, Pharmacists work alongside GPs along with support from Pharmacy Technicians to focus on advanced skills by undertaking tasks such as medicines reconciliation on discharge, management of prescription queries and repeat requests.
