We work with Hayle Community School to provide the Green Card Scheme which allows easier access for young people to see a doctor or a nurse for sexual health advice at Bodriggy Health Centre at a time when the surgery is quiet. Please see the school nurse or a teacher and you will be issued with a Green Card. Bring the Green Card to the surgery and hand it to a receptionist who will arrange for a nurse or a doctor to see you. The receptionist will not ask you any questions regarding your visit. This is a confidential service. Please see our Confidentiality Statement for Young People hereConfidentiality Statement for Young People
C-Card Scheme – Approved Site
C-CARD is a confidential, free condom distribution scheme for young people living in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly. If you are aged between 13-21 years old you can register for a C-CARD. If you are aged 13-15 you will be required to undertake an assessment with a C-CARD trained worker and demonstrate that you are Fraser Competent. It is still illegal to have sex under the age of 16 however you are entitled to confidential contraceptive advice and treatment.
You can register for a C-CARD or collect your condom packs from us or indeed any organisation that displays a C-CARD logo. There are over 200 organisations offering C-CARD across Cornwall.

All you have to do is log on to the website www.freetest.me to request a test kit which will be sent to you through the post.
Chlamydia is the most common sexually transmitted disease. If left untreated it can lead to serious health problems.
